We schedule collections within 48 working hours of your notification and confirm the schedule per emirate. Each location receives a photo confirmation email on collection day. The NIST wipe certificates cover the full fleet regardless of how many emirates are involved.
What documentation do we receive for UAE PDPL compliance purposes?
You receive a NIST 800-88 Rev.2 wipe certificate per SSD, recording device serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status. For DIFC and ADGM entities, the certificate is designed to satisfy the documentation requirements under those frameworks. For an auditable chain-of-custody record, we also provide a photo confirmation email on collection day. If your compliance team needs additional documentation fields, raise them at the start of the collection process.
Is collection at end of contract free, or does it vary by emirate?
Final collection at end of contract is covered by JD Tech Rentals as part of your rental agreement, regardless of which emirate devices are in. There is no location surcharge for Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, or Umm Al Quwain versus Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Mid-contract pickups — for employee offboarding, upgrades, or early returns — are charged at actual courier cost, confirmed before the collection is arranged.
