End-of-rental collection that your IT team doesn't have to manage

When a rental contract ends, the last thing your IT or HR team needs is to coordinate 20 laptops coming back from three different cities. JD Tech Rentals' device recovery service treats end-of-rental collection as a delivery in reverse — one coordinated operation, one confirmed go-return date, one collection per location.

For software houses with remote developers spread across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad home offices, we collect directly from employee addresses. Your HR team submits the list; we schedule collections within 48 working hours. The employee gets a doorstep visit and you receive a photo confirmation email per device. No need for employees to come to an office or arrange their own courier.

Collection confirmation runs in both directions. Your nominated contact receives a photo confirmation email showing the collected device(s) on the day of collection. Once devices are processed at our facility, a NIST 800-88 per-SSD wipe certificate is issued and sent to you. As Pakistan's data protection legislation moves toward enactment, this documentation establishes a clean chain of custody for every device that passed through your organisation.

Collection points in each major Pakistani city are available for clients who prefer to send devices by courier rather than scheduling a pickup. Standard courier packaging applies and we provide the collection address on request.

Common questions

Can you collect from remote employees' home addresses across different cities?

Yes. Home-address collection is part of the service for remote employees. You provide the list of addresses at the time you request collection, we confirm a schedule within 24 hours, and collections happen within 48 working hours. Each employee's device receives a photo confirmation email to your nominated IT or HR contact. This is commonly used by software houses with developers in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi home offices.

Is end-of-rental collection free, or is there a charge?

First delivery at contract start and final collection at contract end are covered by JD Tech Rentals as part of your rental agreement. Mid-contract pickups — for employee offboarding, hardware upgrades, or any collection before the contract end date — are charged at the actual courier cost incurred. We confirm any applicable charges before arranging a mid-contract collection, so there are no surprises.

What do we receive as proof that devices were collected and data was wiped?

You receive two things. First, a photo confirmation email on the day of collection, showing each collected device with identifiable details. Second, a NIST 800-88 per-SSD wipe certificate for every storage device, issued once processing is complete at our facility. The certificate records the device serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status per drive.
