End-of-rental collection for Saudi Arabia's distributed workforce
Corporate laptop collection at end of contract in Saudi Arabia has no dedicated service provider. Companies either manage return logistics internally — often through informal courier arrangements that leave no data wipe documentation — or devices sit in wound-down project offices long after the engagement has ended.
JD Tech Rentals handles end-of-rental collection as a planned operation. When your contract approaches its end date, we confirm the collection schedule for each Saudi location. Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam collections are within 48 working hours of your notification. Project site offices — including Vision 2030 sites — are scheduled with confirmed lead times agreed at the quoting stage.
Saudi PDPL has been fully in force since September 2024. Devices collected through our recovery service receive NIST 800-88 Rev.2 wipe certificates per SSD, providing the documentation required by both the PDPL and any applicable NCA or NDMO audit requirements. For government contractor clients, NDMO documentation standards for secure data erasure are met by the certificate format we issue.
ZATCA Phase 2 compliant e-invoices are issued for any mid-contract collection charges, transmitted to the Fatoora platform and issued as VAT-compliant documents your accounts payable team can process without complications.

Schedule a collectionCommon questions
Can you collect from a Vision 2030 project site or remote location outside the main Saudi cities?
Yes. We handle collections from project site offices across Saudi Arabia, including locations outside Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. Remote site timelines are longer than city collections — typically 3 to 5 business days from notification. Confirm the site address and go-return date at the start of the collection process and we agree the timeline in advance.
What NDMO documentation do we receive for devices collected from government contract use?
Every collected device receives a NIST 800-88 Rev.2 per-SSD wipe certificate recording device serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status. This is the standard documentation format for NDMO-compliant vendor data erasure requirements. For engagements with specific NCA or NDMO audit specifications, confirm the required certificate format at the start of the process and we confirm in writing.
Is end-of-rental collection across multiple Saudi cities included in the rental agreement?
Yes. Final collection at contract end is covered by JD Tech Rentals across all rental locations in Saudi Arabia — Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Al Khobar included. There is no per-city collection fee for standard end-of-contract recovery. Mid-contract pickups for offboarding, upgrades, or early returns are charged at actual cost, with ZATCA-compliant invoicing, confirmed before any mid-contract collection is arranged.
