Who uses JD Tech Rentals DaaS
Bahrain Financial Harbour and FinTech Bay companies that need CBB-governance-ready documentation on every device in their managed fleet.
Saudi businesses with a Bahrain entity. DaaS covers both countries under one vendor — ZATCA invoicing for Saudi seats, NBR invoicing for Bahrain seats.
Muharraq corridor companies and BIIP tenants. Island-wide same-day deployment from Manama.
Bahrain-incorporated companies scaling from 5 to 50 seats. DaaS keeps the balance sheet clean through funding and growth stages.
DaaS built for Bahrain's regulated and subscription-first business community
Bahrain's technology sector — and particularly its FinTech ecosystem at Bahrain Financial Harbour and FinTech Bay — operates under strict device governance requirements. The Central Bank of Bahrain's IT governance standards require documentation of secure data erasure procedures on decommissioned devices. A DaaS provider that cannot produce per-SSD NIST 800-88 wipe certificates is not a viable vendor for a CBB-regulated institution.
Every device in a JD Tech Rentals DaaS fleet produces a NIST 800-88 per-SSD certificate on any return — swap, mid-contract recovery, or end-of-term collection. Combined with photo confirmation emails on device collection, this provides the chain-of-custody documentation your CBB compliance file requires.
Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) carries criminal penalties for serious violations. Devices holding employee records, transaction logs, or client data that are returned without certified wiping represent a genuine legal exposure. The DaaS lifecycle model eliminates that exposure — every device returned is documented and certified before redeployment.
For Saudi businesses maintaining a Bahrain entity, JD Tech Rentals' multi-country DaaS model covers both jurisdictions. Saudi seats are billed in SAR with ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoices. Bahrain seats are billed in BHD with NBR-compliant 10% VAT invoices. One vendor, one relationship, two locally compliant billing streams.

We are CBB-regulated. Do your wipe certificates satisfy CBB IT governance requirements?
Our per-SSD NIST 800-88 Rev.2 certificates include device serial number, wipe method, timestamp, and pass/fail status per drive — the format designed to satisfy CBB IT governance audit requirements for data destruction on decommissioned devices. If your compliance officer needs additional certificate fields for a CBB audit, raise that at the start of the engagement and we confirm in writing before the agreement is signed.
How does Bahrain's 10% VAT apply to a monthly DaaS subscription?
VAT at 10% applies to the monthly rental/service fee. NBR-compliant invoices are issued each billing cycle, with VAT itemised separately. For multi-country agreements covering both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, Bahrain invoices carry 10% VAT under NBR rules and Saudi invoices carry VAT under ZATCA Phase 2 rules — separate compliant documents for each jurisdiction.
Bahrain is a small island. Is island-wide delivery genuinely same-day?
For deployments from our Manama hub, delivery to Riffa, Muharraq, Hamad Town, and Isa Town is within the same business day on most orders placed before noon. There is no per-location surcharge within Bahrain. For employee home-address deliveries, we coordinate directly with the employee once we have the address list from your HR team.
